Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-08-19
1. The service
Waxmark is a registry for AI instruction files (rules, agent instructions, skills, prompts). Content is provided by the community and by ingestion from permissively licensed public sources. Every published version is scanned by an automated heuristic pipeline; the scan badge is a filter, not a guarantee — see our About page and scanner specification for exactly what is and is not checked. You are responsible for reviewing any instruction file before giving it to an agent with real permissions.
2. Your account
Sign-in uses GitHub or Google. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, attempt to circumvent the scanner, or submit malicious content.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting, you (a) confirm you have the right to share it under the license you select, (b) grant Waxmark a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, scan, and distribute it under that license, and (c) accept that published versions are immutable and publicly visible, including their scan reports and version history.
4. Prohibited use
No malicious content (prompt injection, hidden instructions, exfiltration payloads, malware), no content you lack rights to share, no attempts to evade the scanner, no scraping at abusive rates, no impersonation.
5. Moderation
We may quarantine, remove, or refuse any content at our discretion, including via automated scanning. Moderation actions are audited. To dispute a decision or report content, use the report form on any item or see Takedown.
6. Disclaimers
The service and all content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waxmark is not liable for damages arising from use of the service or of any instruction file obtained through it.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
